All applicants for permanent residence are sent an Acknowledgement of Receipt within 12 weeks from the date we receive a completed application. The Acknowledgement provides  your case file number and details of processing times. Please read it carefully.

We will NOT respond to case status enquiries unless the period of time stated on the Acknowledgement of Receipt has elapsed from the date we receive an application.
