TEMPORARY WORKER APPLICATIONS

INFORMATION FOR JUNIOR 'A' HOCKEY PLAYERS

Please be advised that individuals who have been invited to attend Junior 'A' hockey camps may seek entry to Canada as temporary residents. If you are a citizen of a country listed below, you do not require a temporary resident visa in order to enter Canada, but you must provide a photocopy of your passport.

If you will be attending a school or other academic institution in Canada, you will also require a study permit. You will be able to apply for your study permit from inside Canada.

CITIZENS OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES DO NOT REQUIRE A TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA TO ENTER CANADA:

Citizens of the following countries are exempt from the visa requirement: Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brunei, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel (National Passport holders only), Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Portugal, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, San Marino, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Kingdom (see below*), United States, and Western Samoa;

*British Citizens, British Dependent Territories Citizens, British Nationals Overseas, British Overseas Citizens entitled to re-admission to the United Kingdom.
