The Canada Sweden Youth Mobility Programme

Important notice:

Applications for 2008 will be processed as of January 1st

The Participation Fee is SEK 975. The fee must be paid through the Embassy's Bank Giro account 0234-6823

This program is administered by the Canadian Embassy in Stockholm.

Applicants must:

1)

Be citizens and residents of Sweden

 

2)

Be aged between 18 and 30 (inclusive)

 

3)

Have no criminal record. Please submit a police certificate for every country where you resided more than 6 months since turning 18.

 

4)

Have Cda$ 2 500 for their initial maintenance.  This sum is equivalent to approximately SEK 16 500.

 

5) Pay the Participation Fee of CAD $150 (SEK 975 - Current fee rate as of Monday December 10th 2007).

The fee must be paid through the Embassy's Bank Giro account 0234-6823

If you wish to participate in the Youth Mobility Programme please provide evidence that you meet the requirements as outlined above, complete and return the application form to be found on the FORMS page to the embassy in Stockholm at the address below, with a copy of the identity page of your passport, two passport size photographs, your résumé, a recent police certificate and a self-addressed envelope which will be used to return your documents. Please do not submit your passport.

The maximum validity of a work permit issued under this program is 12 months and cannot be renewed.
